Bret Hart Interview 26.11.2010

WWE
Hall of Famer Bret Hart was recently interviewed by the UK’s Daily
Mirror publication. You can watch a video of their interview with the
Hitman at this link. Here are some highlights of what he said about:

Wrestling With Tyson Kidd, DH Smith & Natalya Neidhart At MSG:

Bret said working with them was incredibly rewarding. The Hart Dynasty
wanted to be wrestlers their entire lives and working with them was one
of the major things that brought him back to WWE. He wanted to give back
to the younger generation and show them their hard work paid off. He
thinks if Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith were around today, they would
have wanted him to work with Natalya, DH Smith and Tyson Kidd.

The Hart Dynasty’s Recent Storyline Breakup:

“I personally think that their story has not evolved enough yet.
There’s a real human interest story about their childhoods and growing
up with wrestling that doesn’t need to be rushed.”

“I wouldn’t
be surprised if the timing is a little quick and – I don’t have any idea
if this rift they have right now is going to be a permanent rift or
going to lead to a huge storyline. Who knows, maybe it will tie me in
somehow.”

TNA Wrestling, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff:

“I’m so unfamiliar with TNA. I don’t know what they’re doing. More so
than ever, when they’ve tied themselves in with the genius of Hulk Hogan
and Eric Bischoff, I immediately focus on something else. I’ve been
there, done that. I know between the two of them, they don’t have a good
idea in their head about wrestling.”

WWE / Kaval Update 31.12.2010

Brandon
Silvestry (a/k/a Kaval/Low Ki) requested his release from World
Wrestling Entertainment after being frustrated with his position in the
organization. The company's creative department was told to bury him
after winning the second season of NXT, until a decision was made that
he was built up for a few weeks for an Intercontinental Championship
Match against Dolph Ziggler at Survivor Series. After losing at the
pay-per-view event, creative was told to resume burying him.

Following his quick loss to Drew McIntyre on the Dec. 21 episode of
SmackDown!, he reportedly asked WWE management if he had any heat with
them, to which he was told no. He then queried if they had any future
plans for him and was told they really didn't at that time. He
subsequently asked to be released from his contract, which was
officially granted two days later.

Silvestry joined WWE in late
2008 while reigning as IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion in Japan.
Original creative plans called for him to adopt a masked character and
feud with Rey Mysterio. As he was awaiting his call-up to the main
roster, he suffered a severe leg injury in January 2009, which sidelined
him for nine months. Creative lost interest in utilizing the program by
the time he healed and he remained in developmental until June, when it
was announced he would be a participant in the second season of NXT.

Eric Bischoff Interview 31.12.2010

Eric Bischoff was on Monday Night Mayhem, here are the highlights…

The changes he believes that himself & Hulk Hogan, both
individually & collectively, implemented effectively in TNA since
coming into the company one year ago: "If you look at TNA as a brand
& as a media property, I think that Hulk Hogan in particular, and to
a lesser extent myself, probably brought more media awareness &
industry awareness to the brand than anything they had done up to that
point. I think the residual effect of that brand awareness is still
playing itself out and is something that TNA is taking advantage of, and
it will probably continue to do so."

Why Spike TV decided to
cancel TNA Reaction, his reaction to the news, & when he found out
about the decision: "No it won't unfortunately. We found out toward the
second-to-last day of the TV tapings we had, and Spike had decided to
make a different programming decision and go in a different direction.
The Reaction you see on the 30th will be the last Reaction."

His reaction to Jim Ross' recent comments (on his BBQ Sauce Blog)
regarding TNA being able to compete with the WWE in 2011 & that TNA
will "never" overtake the WWE in the marketplace: "I agree 100%. WWE has
been around for a long, long time. They've been well-entrenched &
well-established in cable television for the last 20 years. It's a
television juggernaut. TNA comparatively is a Kool-Aid stand compared to
Coca-Cola in terms of its resources & infrastructure. The idea of
TNA ever being able to compete with the WWE, although I've been out
there, and I've been promoting it as such: I believe in a lot of ways we
do compete. There are a lot of things about TNA that are better than
the WWE on an individual basis. But you can't compare TNA as a company
to WWE as a company. In that regard, Jim Ross is absolutely 100% right
on the money. Doesn't mean we don't want to try. Doesn't mean we don't
wanna swing for the fences whenever we're given the opportunity. Doesn't
mean that we don't want to do things that put ourselves out in front of
the WWE audience, just like we did with the Monday night effort. That
was something that got people to sample us. It created awareness, and
that's important for us. I don't think anybody within TNA realistically
felt we were going to compete on a business level with the WWE."

Mickie James Interview 29.12.2010
Mickie on performing on TNA iMPACT!:

"I was really singing during that performance, because I thought in my mind as a performer, you know, you can do it one of two ways. Because it is a show, and TV, and you can do things a number of ways. Honestly, I found we were going to be doing that pretty much the day before we taped it. So, we were given the option, ‘Do you want to sing to your backup track?'… And I said absolutely not. I want people to see that I'm serious about this. And if I got up there and for whatever reason something goes wrong, then I only have myself to blame."

Mickie on Leaving WWE:

"They had every opportunity to jump onboard if they wanted to, and I would have welcomed it. If they wanted to wrap a tour around some of the live event shows, Or maybe market the album itself. I think because it's an industry they really don't know anything about… Country music has a loyal, loyal fan base, just like wrestling, just like NASCAR, just like any diehard sport like that. So I think it's an easy crossover if it's marketed correctly. But if you're completely ignorant to the whole process, or you don't know anything about country music, you probably can't open up to that idea because it's not your world… I think if they had a little more of an open mind and actually grasped the concept and actually taken the ball and ran with it. I think they had a really killer idea on their hand that they probably dropped the ball on."

Dolph Ziggler Interview 27.12.2010

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review conducted an interview with Dolph Ziggler promoting tomorrow night's SmackDown! live event in Pittsburgh, PA. The Intercontinental

Champion says his amateur wrestling background comes in handy for him inside the WWE ring.

Dolph Ziggler: "In high school and college, I worked hard as hell to be in great shape, to be good at what I did. A lot of that translates over, or at least helps with the mindset - constantly wanting to be better," he says. "Also, because of my wrestling background, I've been able to apply a lot of moves that a lot of people haven't seen in a long time - stuff I've actually used in college to win matches.

"I used to do this 'crucifix pin,' where you get a guy's arm between your legs and another arm between your arms and you roll him on his back. I used to use that as a finishing move in high school and college. Now I actually use it almost every match. It's really comfortable for me to go to place like that really quickly."

Ziggler also feels that being able to entertain a crowd is just as, if not more, important than looking the part of a WWE Superstar.

"You have to differentiate yourself from other people," he says. "There's a million guys out there who are athletic. There's a million 6-foot-8 guys who played football. It's (about) being able to relate to the fans."
Dustin Rhodes Interview 22.12.2010

WWE talent Dustin Rhodes (a/k/a Goldust) speaks frankly and openly about his journey through the professional wrestling industry in his newly released autobiography, Cross Rhodes: Goldust, Out of the Darkness. He gives a no-holds barred account of his severe drug problems, which notably persisted during his two stints with TNA Wrestling. In the book, he admits that his issues had worsened to the point that he was using cocaine prior to matches for the organization in 2005. Regarding this, he wrote:

"Eventually, and thanks to my dad, I started working for Total Nonstop Action for $1,000 a show. He was the boss, right under Dixie Carter. TNA wasn't doing too well at that point, but I had a job making okay money. I could drive home just about every night. All I was doing was what little I had to do in the ring, then hanging out spending my money on coke, pills, and booze.

"I started making excuses for why I couldn't hang with Dakota. Subconsciously I probably knew I didn't want her around me or my girlfriend because the environment was so toxic. Despite the chaos, I showed up every night for work. I have no idea how I was able to stay on point with work at that time. One of my cardinal rules was never to drink before I worked a match. I wouldn't consider doing coke before a match either. I'd take painkillers, fine. I had been taking painkillers for so long that I had convinced myself I really need them. I was taking medicine because I worked in a tough business. That was the story I had cemented into my mind. But drugs have a way of altering everything, including the stories you tell yourself. Eventually, I started doing a little coke before matches while retaining my vow to never drink alcohol before I go into the ring, as if that was something to be proud of."

Rhodes parted ways with TNA Wrestling after being arrested on April 25, 2005 and charged with misdemeanor battery following a domestic incident with his girlfriend at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, Florida. He would return to the organization two years later as the split personality character Black Reign. He said that time was the hardest period of his life as his painkiller usage increased.

"Every morning, as soon as I pulled myself out of bed, I'd take three Vicodins or Lortabs just to get moving. I was sore and pretty banged up physically, but over time pain pills exaggerated rather than eliminated whatever pain I was feeling. It was a slow process for me to get into the day. I'd get that first rush from pills and then I'd get moving. I might do something around the house, or jump into my truck and drive to the river to work on this book."

He continues disclosing his severe self-medication issues, which culminated with the following in early 2008:

"I was probably taking close to forty pills a day at the end. I was so desperate that I actually bought pain pills from drug dealers because I would run out long before I could find another doctor to write a prescription. If I dropped a pill and it fell into the carpet, I would spend hours down on my hands and knees trying to find it. At the same time I was drinking so much that I'd wake up dizzy and unable to walk.

"Finally, after a three-day binge, I'd had enough. It was raining, I pulled myself up and walked right out the door. The rain was pouring down and I stumbled up a hill near this house where I knew I could get cell-phone reception. Somehow, I managed to call my dad. It was four thirty in the morning. I was falling down the hill in the mud. Ta-rel (his girlfriend) was trying to hold me up. I was scared half to death. I managed to get into the house, soaking wet.

"I had found the bottom."

Rhodes, still affiliated with TNA Wrestling, then reveals calling Ann Russo-Gordon, the liaison between World Wrestling Entertainment and talent who take up the company's offer for rehab. He remained locked away in a rehabilitation center for thirty days to face his demons and was successful. He credits his family and World Wrestling Entertainment, which he also considers family, for helping him turn his life around. He says he has remained sober since May 20, 2008.
Highlights of an interview in the current PowerSlam magazine....

I must ask you about Matt Hardy, whose name I mentioned earlier. You and Hardy have taken pot shots at each other for years. You clearly despise each other. Why?

[It's all down to] jealousy. He realized that he didn't have the goods, that women just didn't like him, and that I was a sincere person who had charm, who attracted females, and he became jealous.

He's just not a very good human being. He's a phony. Anybody who adorns their home with nothing but pictures of themselves — that pretty much explains it, right there. He just couldn't be a man about anything. He doesn't know what it is to be a man. If he's not at the forefront of something, he's going to try to make himself the forefront.

Regarding Hardy: in September you posted a video of yourself online in which you spoofed Hardy's internet video campaign to obtain a contract release from WWE. In your video, you poked fun at Hardy's weight and made other serious accusations about him. Within days, you had removed the video. Was that because you regretted some of the things you'd said about him?

Erm, it wasn't that I regretted it. Believe me, there were times that I wished I could have done a lot more. There were several occasions when I challenged him to a fight, and he backed out because he's a coward. I was like, "I'm sick of this back and forth crap; let's go outside right now."

And he was, like: "Whoah! Whoah! I don't have a problem with you!" I've never seen anyone with so many tails between their legs.

So the regret that I have in making that stupid video was... I was in a pretty dark place emotionally at the time. I wasn't satisfied with myself. I'm an emotional guy. I take dips. I go up and down. That was never meant to really go out. The whole video was created merely out of boredom. I watched it back and I thought, 'This is garbage. This isn't how I want to represent myself at all. Why am I wasting my time on this?' It was a bit of a wake-up call, actually. I regret doing it because of the way I portrayed myself, especially on a guy who is beneath me. I humiliated myself.

This will be the best match of the night....

Kofi Kingston Vs Jack Swagger Vs Dolph Ziggler

Jack Swagger looks like he may have hurt his wrist only a few minutes in, but he gets it taped up and continues the match...

...Some great spots early in the match before the ring clears and Vicky Guerrero gets in the ring and starts to climb the ladder.... She is joined by Kofi, who warns her to climb down, she ignored the request and Kofi threatens to dump her... Ziggler pleads for him to stop and Swagger takes out Kofi and Dolph with a ladder....

....No need for the Vicky spot, these guys are all great...

All three guys on the ladder, Swagger is knocked off.... Dolph slaps on his sleeper hold to kofi on top of the ladder.... Sleeper broken and Kofi hits Dolph off the ladder, who is then joined by Swagger....

They both knock the Title down and Ziggler picks it up from the ring...

And he is still the IC Champion....

So, they give these 3 great talents about 6 minutes for what was sure to be (and probably still will be) the match of the night.... Damn.... These guys could have had a 20 minute classic, but I guess they are saving the time for John Cena to walk around the ring for 15 minutes after his match later....

Mentally holding up my middle finger to whoever booked this match to go so short and have such a screw-job ending....

Layla & Michelle come to the ring for a Divas Tag Team match...

That's my cue to get a magazine because I'm going to need it....

Beth & Nattie start off strong before Michelle & Layla do the only offence they know...

Punch, kick, punch, kick....

Michelle throws Beth from the ring in a really unsafe way and she could have legitimately broken her neck... Thankfully the referee signals that she is okay...

This is why WWE shouldn't put non-wrestlers like Michelle & Layla in a wrestling ring... it's only a matter of time before they hurt someone else or themselves... And it's also really boring to watch 2 women who can't wrestle, in a wrestling ring, kicking and punching....

Nattie puts Michelle and Layla through a table to win the match for her team

Hopefully WWE will phase-out Michelle and Layla because they are awful... but something tells me that as long as Michelle is married to Undertaker, she isn't going anywhere....

Tag Titles: Koslov & Santino Vs Gabriel & Slater.....

I like Santino as an athlete, but I hate WWE comedy characters messing around during a match, it's just stupid... I don't watch wrestling for comedy.... I hope they have him lose the childish crap at some point because I think he could be a good talent if used correctly.

Slater & Gabriel could be good in time, but right now, although they show moments of potential, they are still very green.....

Santino gets a hot tag... punch, punch, hiptoss, punch, stunner, stupid Cobra move is coming up.... but to stop the "lethal" cobra, McGillicutty jumps in the ring and tackles Santino... Slater and Gabriel are DQ'd...

What stupid crap, I mean why would Nexus risk not winning the Titles just so they could save a member from a comedy harmless move like the "Cobra"!???

Because this is WWE and they don't give a crap about what makes sense or not, they just don't want to have to have anyone pinned and it's easier to write a DQ ending while not having anyone lose....

Wade Barrett comes out with a chair and leaves Koslov & Santino laying after the match....

To keep Nexus strong?? After losing to a comedy team like Santino & Koslov??

Crap, lazy booking and the action was awful.... the same as your average runnish WWE Raw match... And I've actually paid for this crap.... I guess the joke is on me...

Morrison Vs Sheamus is up next....

I like Morrison a lot, but you know he will just be Sheamus' rag doll to throw around in this match to try to disguse the fact that Sheamus can't do anything....

Morrison hits a great corkscrew over a ladder and lands on Sheamus in a cross-body...

Sheamus hits some forearms.... and a kick.... And tips him upside down from a ladder....

Wastes time to catch his breath... before a kick... and another kick... another kick... a punch... Sheamus has now worked his way through all his offence so he throws a ladder at Morrison and then pounds his chest and wastes time to catch his breath before slowly climbing the ladder...

Stopped by Morrison, so Sheamus lands a kick... and another kick... you get the idea...

Yes, he hits Morrison with more forearms and a few more kicks....

Traps Morrison's leg in the ladder and drives it into the canvas...

And throws another kick... and another kick... and stands on this throat...

Sheamus hits a slam and throws more stomps....

Sheamus must have some awesome powers because I'm starting to fall into a coma with his boring crap....

Sheamus is supposed to get a drop-toe-hold by Morrison into the ladder he is holding, but he sucks so much, he falls down with about 10 inches space between him & the ladder....

Both guys have a ladder and they duel, with Morrison getting the better and throws his ladder at Sheamus and sets another up in the corner, resting on the 2nd rope and throws Sheamus into it... Morrison uses the ladder to "Atomic Drop" Sheamus and clotheslines him out of the ring.

Morrison throws the ladder at Sheamus outside the ring and hopefully it has knocked some wrestling ability into him... but I doubt it...

Morrison starts climbing the ladder to get the contract, but is stopped by Sheamus....

Sheamus climbs the ladder... joined by Morrison... Sheamus is hit from the ladder, he tried to powerbomb Morrison out of the ring, but Morrison reverses it into a hurricanrana and Sheamus goes out....

Morrison goes for the Contract, but gets stopped by Sheamus....

Sheamus back-drops Morrison over the top rope....

Morrison gets back in, balanced on the 2nd rope outside and tries to suplex Sheamus from the ladder inside the ring.... Sheamus pulls Morrison back inside...

Sheamus takes a nasty bump under Morrison as both guys fall from the ladder inside the ring to the ladder set up sideways outside the ring....

Morrison tried to grab the contract... Sheamus stops him before eating a kick to the face and thankfully Morrison gets the contract!

I'm pleased Morrison won the match, but the only thing Sheamus did of any worth in the match is take a bump onto a ladder...

If WWE had put Morrison in a ladder match with someone who can work (Daniel Bryan for example) then they could have had a great match.

Instead, the action was average, but at least the guy with talent actually won :)

Backstage someone has beaten down Slater, McGillicutty & Gabriel from Nexus...

Randy Boreton is now on his way to the ring....

Orton Vs Miz in a tables match...

Orton hits some punches.... stomps on Miz.... irish whips Miz.... throws a kick... stomp... stomp.... stomp....

Another irish whip on the Miz...

Miz takes over.... kick... kick... punch....

Orton rakes his eyes... Irish whip reversal by Miz... Orton throws Miz to the outside...

Orton throws a punch... another punch.... punch... punch... etc...

This is the crap I hate... is this Pro Wrestling or some strange new worked (fake) Boxing "entertainment" show??

Miz slides into Orton carrying a table...

Orton recovers and tries to put Miz Through a table, but is sent into the steps...

Miz picks up the steps and nails Orton with it.... No blade job......

Damn, I just lost a ton of writing recapping this match!

Orton hit an Angle Slam.... Hey, why not use your own moves Orton? Oops! I forgot you don't have any moves of your own...

The DDT from Jake The Snake, The Stomp from Rugged Ronnie Garvin, the RKO from Diamond Dallas Page... and now the Angle Slam from Kurt Angle....

Punch punch punch clothesline... kick kick punch.... etc

Orton starts pounding the mat, signalling for the RKO.... Hey be careful not to dislocate your shoulder Randy, doing that high risk thumping there! lol
Alex Riley interrupts the RKO and the referee gets knocked down somehow...

Randy just about hits a very amateurish powerbomb on Alex Riley, Miz hits Randy with a Facebuster and drags him over the broken table in time for the ref to see it and Miz is still the champion.....

Referee re-starts the match when he learns that Orton wasn't put through the table...

About 10 seconds later, Miz strikes Orton and sends him through a table at ringside...

Miz is still the WWE Champion...

Worst WWE PPV this year so far, which says a hell of a lot....

If only they cut time from everything else and gave it to the Swagger Vs Kofi Vs Ziggler match....

Kane Vs Mysterio Vs Edge Vs Del Rio is up next....
about 7 months ago · Delete Post
Az Khepi Hawkins
i hope this match brings some excitement in this ppv
about 7 months ago ·
· Report · Delete Post
David Dexter
Mysterio hits a cross body from the ladder inside the ring to Kane on the outside after Del Rio tries to dump him....

Kane sends Mysterio into a ladder....

Edge gets a ladder kicked into him by Kane who then throws a ladder onto Del Rio and Mysterio outside the ring...

Ah, you put Edge & Mysterio in the ring together and magic happens....
Well, it seems like Magic after the rest of the crap I've been watching, but it's actually just entertaining wrestling....

Lots of different ladder spots by all guys....

Kane has a chair outside the ring, leaves everyone laying... Edge hits a spear on Kane on the ramp near the entrance....

Rey Mysterio tired to jump from a stage table onto Kane, but doesn't quite make it...

Inside the ring, rey hits a 619 on Del Rio... Tries to hit Edge with a 619, but Edge blocks the move with a chair...

Edge & Mysterio battle on top of a ladder, but then drive eachother into the ring below...

Kane chokelams Ricardo who tries to climb a ladder.... Kane chokeslams Del Rio.... Kane chokeslams Edge onto a table outside the ring...

Mysterio hits a drop toe hold on Kane into a chair and send him outside the ring before climbing the ladder.... stopped by Del Rio...

Del Rio almost takes the Title... but Mysterio sends him from the top of the ladder to a couple of tables set up at ringside... quite a brutal bump by Del Rio, credit to him for taking that....

Kane hits the Tombstone on Rey Mysterio....

Edge stops Kane from taking the Title with a chair and Spears him into a table outside the ring....

Edge climbs the ladder and takes the World Title!

I think the best man won and I'm really pleased to see Edge leave with the Championship

This should have been the main event, it was the match of the night by far

(because WWE intentionally booked the IC Ladder match to be a nothing-match so it wouldn't out-do this one or burn out the crowd to many of the table, ladder & chair spots in this match)

Now we just have a boring comedy kick-punch affair main event coming up...
about 7 months ago · Delete Post
Az Khepi Hawkins
yeh the great john cena going one on one with mr barett lol ..
but i guess
i really liked jomo vs sheamus and heavyweight title match ..
· Report · Delete Post
David Dexter
Cody Rhodes comes out and cuts a promo on the fans in Houston...

I like Cody Rhodes, but the material WWE gives him is cheap-heat garbage...

Not even intentional cheap-heat with a tongue-in-cheek for laughs (like Foley used to do) but it's just the best the WWE writing team can do.... feel sorry for them....

The bellas come to the ring with Big Show dressed as Santa Clause giving out Knucklehead DVDs because no one will actually buy the thing....

Cody says that Big show isn't dashing....

Big Show tells Cody to eat a donut and dance around in his underwear...

Cody says that Big Show is a "Vanilla Shrek" but that Shrek smells better...

Big Show says Cody needs to work on his fashion and he could get him a part in Knucklehead 2.....

Big Show hits a spinebuster on Cody... and takes strips his clothes off...

Wow, WWE writers have written a masterpiece of a promo again.... no change there...
how do people (WWE fanboy or not) defend this crap writing?

CM Punk comes out to do commentary for the main event...

I think the rationale is if fans have to sit through this next crappy Cena / Barrett match, at least they will get to hear something interesting...

about 7 months ago · Delete Post
David Dexter
Cena pulls Barrett back in the ring and holds a headlock.... Sent into the ropes and hits a shoulder block... both men cuddle for a while for no reason outside the ring and Wade hits a punch and picks up a chair... Cena backs off... lots of stalling and time wasting.....

Stupid "try & hit me with the chair & I will move out the way" spots....

Cena gets a chair... more time wasting.... they hit chairs and both drop them...

Cena punch... punch... kick... etc...

Cena puts Barrett into a chair... it's not really a bulldog into the chair or anything, it's a Cena-flop type thing....

Pump-handle slam by Barrett on Cena....

Barrett hits a punch... punch... punch... Cena rolls outside the ring... both men waste time......

Barrett irish whips Cena into the steps outisde.... Barrett wastes more time before they play the "you can't hit me with the chair" comedy spots AGAIN before he finally hits Cena in the back with the chair and then walks back to the ring and wastes even more time trying to pick up the steps.... drags them away from the ring to the entrance ramp... leaves them... picks up a chair.... lame stike to Cena... heads back to the steps and turns them over the right way...

Cena backdrops Barrett on the ramp.... minutes seem to tick away and Cena disappears backstage..... F**K this is boring....

Cena re-appears with an office chair on wheels and pushes Barrett into the steps which he set up for this lame spot a few minutes ago....

Barrett recovers immediately and kicks Cena... Puts chair around his neck and sends him into the ring post.... Picks up a chair.... chokes cena with it in the middle of the ring for ages.... very exciting, as you can imagine lol

This match sucks....

Cena hits a shoulder block and misses the next shoulder block....

This match is pathetic...

Cena is tied in the ropes and more time wasting while Cena pulls some stupid expressions which are supposed to be pain while being hit with a chair, but it looks like he is constipated or something. Almost comical, yet not funny....

Cena just gets out suddenly and does the stupid 5 knuckle shuffle... Wade Barrett avoids the FU and hits a sidewalk slam...

Time moves in slow motion.... way too much time given to this match with 2 very limited and green guys...

Feels like this match has been going on for over an hour and nothing has happened yet....

Barrett misses an elbow drop with a chair from the top rope... Cena gets the chair and hits Barrett with it before doing a really goofy stupid smile at the camera....

Cena goes for a chair-assisted legdrop from the top rope but it looks like crap (not like Sabu & RVD do it that's for damn sure)

More time wasting as Cena sets up 6 chairs in the ring very slowly and walks around the ring doing that annoying cheesy grin....

Attitude Adjustment onto the chairs and the win...

Another crappy WWE main event...

They should have gone with the Edge win to end the show because this match was crap......

Overall probably the worst PPV of 2010.....

I want my 3 hours back.....

I should have missed this show and watched TNA's Final Resolution again from a couple of weeks ago...

It's great to see Edge win the Title and the match was good, but everything else was not worth watching, apart from the action in the 6 minute IC Title match but they will probably have a longer, better match against eachother next week on Smack Down, so I wouldn't bother checking out the show unless you really have nothing else to do....

Alberto Del Rio Interview 20.12.2010

WWE SmackDown! superstar Alberto Del Rio recently sat down with Slam! Wrestling to plug this Saturday's Tribute to the Troops event. The show airs on NBC. Check out some highlights below:

On working in Mexico:

"To develop my character, I only used experiences from people I hate. That's making my job really easy. All your life, you have the chance to know people where you hate the way they talk, the way they walk, the way they express themselves and that's what I do to develop my character. I just remember people I hate through the years and that's Alberto Del Rio right there."

On advice from Vince McMahon:

"Before my debut, Mr. McMahon told me, 'You gotta believe to make people believe.' When he told me that, I was like, 'Okay, all that I need is to believe my character.' ... That's what I do every time I go out, I really believe I'm Alberto Del Rio. I really believe I have all those cars, all those millions."

On becoming a top star:

"That's the reason I came here, that's the reason I left everything behind - my friends, my family, my house in Mexico, my status. I was a big superstar in Mexico and when I came to WWE, no one knew me. Now I'm building my career here in the States, little by little and I'm sure I'm going to be one of the main guys pretty soon."
