Pro Wrestling Syndicate, a promotion based in New Jersey, issued the following statement today:
Scott
Hall was booked as our Guest Commissioner for this Sunday's Pro
Wrestling Syndicate event in Fairfield, Connecticut. I just received a
phone call from Hall's booking agent Lenny informing me that Hall has
been sent to a 50 day mandatory rehab facility in Texas by his probation
officer. I am being told that the WWE is funding Hall's rehab. That

Bill Simmons held a 45-minute interview with WWE Hall of Famer Shawn
Michaels, in which he said there is "absolutely no chance" that he will
return to wrestling for another match. Michaels added that he decided
before WrestleMania 25 that he wanted his last match to be at

McMahon has secured the Republican nomination by winning tonight's
primary. Linda McMahon is the current top story on CNN.com at 10:50EST
with the headline "Former wrestling exec wins Connecticut Senate

by his absence last night at HardCORE Justice was The Blue Meanie.
Though he appeared in a pre-taped video run during the pay-per-view
broadcast, he was unable to appear at the show itself. Ultimately, an

have released their second quarter earnings results. Overall the
results were not good, as they were below second quarter results from
last year. The main notes are:
Revenues for the second quarter
were $106.8 million with an opening income of $10.3 million and a net
income of $6.3 million. The second quarter last year included

McMahon's Senate campaign got a major-league boost today. The
Quinnipiac University poll showed the race tightening up, with Democrat
Richard Blumenthal's lead only ten points at 50/40. Just three weeks ago
the vote was 54% to 37% for Blumenthal, a 17% lead. In a key
demographic, Linda leads Blumenthal 46% to 44% head-to-head among
Independents, her first lead in that category.

have apparently made amends with another controversial former talent as
Debrah Miceli (a/k/a Alundra Blayze, Madusa) is featured in the latest
edition of Where Are They Now?.
Fifteen years after infamously
dropping the WWE Women's Championship into a garbage can on a December
1995 edition of WCW Monday Nitro, Miceli candidly discusses the infamous
scene with WWE.com.

Marie Damatta, who performed for World Wrestling Entertainment from
2002 to 2005, admitted to the Connecticut Post that she used steroids
during the course of her tenure in the organization.

serious claims are being made towards former WWE performer Dawn Marie
Damatta as she is being accused of embezzling her charitable
organization, "Wrestlers Rescue."
The organization, which was
founded in 2008, creates awareness and helps raise money to support the
health care needs of retired professional wrestlers. However, former
friends of Damatta say they are unaware of whom the organization has
