WWE Raw Thoughts 17th Jan 2011


Cena comes to the ring... Fast Forward what looked like another very long and boring promo by the useless Cena

CM Punk & the New Nexus come down to the ring to attack Cena, but Koslov & Santino come to the ring and the comedy joke wrestlers: Cena, Santino & Koslov manage to clear the ring of The New Nexus...

....That makes them look very strong... Just confirming that Nexus is just a bunch of jobbers for guys like Cena, Orton... and Santino!
The members have changed, but the "Nexus" gang is a new version of the Job Squad or Spirit Squad....

CM Punk has tons of talent and I think Joe Hennig & Husky have great potential, but WWE is pissing it away....

Santino & Koslov Vs The Usos...

Of course, the comedy team won after Santino used the stupid "Cobra".... It's one thing to have a PG rated show, but it's another thing entirely to write your show exclusively for only 5 year olds to enjoy....

Two of the best workers in the company - Daniel Bryan Vs John Morrison... Great work by these two, as always, but they are given 4 minutes to have their match....

Sheamus comes to the ring and another boring promo begins.... He gets more time to bore us than Morrison & Bryan got to wrestle... Does no one else think that is criminal?
Can anyone else imagine trying to put the show together and actually giving Sheamus more time than Morrison Vs Bryan?
They are both faces, so it's not like they are saving the match for a PPV or something like that, they are just retarded writers....

Just to rub in how bad the show is, Vicky Guerrero comes to the ring and cuts a boring promo...

Dolph Ziggler Vs Randy Orton

I'm a fan of Dolph, but Randy slows the pace of the match down as always with his boring, predictable offence... Miz & Riley come down to the ring to try and attack Orton... Throw him into the steps and the barricade....

Nattie Vs Maryse.... Just after I looked up to see this match, it was over... I think they may have had 2 minutes for the match?

Battle Royal.... Mark Henry won.... That's all I need to say....
Alberto Del Rio comes to the ring and cuts a promo on Henry, saying he will win the Rumble....


CM Punk Vs Cena.... Great work by Punk... Same old crap by Cena...
Cena slaps on his "forearms-to-the-earlobes" submission, complete with funny faces, but Punk gets to the ropes...

Both guys to their feet and clothesline eachother and Cena is so bad at taking bumps, it's pretty comical to watch, combined with those funny facial expressions he pulls... it's easy to see why little kids like him, he's just like a clown at the circus.

Punk slaps on the Anaconda Vice but Cena gets to the ropes....

Mason Ryan comes down to the ring and kicks Punk in the face... Cena is DQ'd and Masion Ryan is revealed to be another member of The New Nexus....

Show ends.....

This may be my last Raw recap, because it's less painful to just fast forward through it and not have to write about it....
