Back & Forth action to start....
Dolph gains control and hits a hangman neckbreaker and a neck snap on Edge before sending Edge to the floor.....
Back inside the ring, Dolph ZIggler hold Edge in a chinlock while Vicky cheers for Ziggler on the outside.....
Edge fights out and both guys hit each other with a high cross body
Dolph Ziggler misses Edge and charges himself into the turnbuckles before Edge and Dolph exchange offensive moves....
Edge hits a cross body from the top rope on Ziggler, but Dolph reverses the move for a 2 count.....
Edge slaps on the Educater submission, but Dolph reaches the ropes
Edge hits a big boot and the Impaler DVD on Ziggler for a 2 count....
Vicky jumps to the apron and slaps Edge.... Kelly Kelly comes to the ringside and attacks Vicky
Dolph Ziggler comes up behind Edge and hits the ZIg-Zag for near fall...
Ziggler holds Edge in the sleeper hold, while trying to struggle out, the referee gets knocked down and Edge reverses the sleeper hold with a chin breaker
Edge hits the Spear on Dolph Ziggler while the referee is down.....
Edge hits Ziggler with Christian's Unprettier / Killswitch move to win the match by pinfall...
Very good match to start the show.....

The Miz Vs Randy Orton

Randy Orton punches Miz.... Throws some stomps.... Throws him to the outside and clotheslines him.... Sends him back in the ring
This match is just punch - punch - kick - kick - chinlock - each guy gets a turn at this exact spot which lasts for ages as they do it in slow motion....
Miz gets a boot to Orton's face for a 2 count.... Fans start chanting "Miz is awful, Miz is awful" right before he goes for another long chinlock spot.... This match is awful....
Randy Orton hits a back suplex on Miz before walking into a big boot for a 2 count. Randy Orton catches Miz going to the top rope and hits a Superplex on The Miz for a 2 count.
Both guys exchange kicks and punches before Randy Orton hits a couple of clotheslines and a backbreaker. Orton goes for the DDT but gets backdropped over the top rope instead.
Miz hits a double axe handle from the top rope for a 2 count before punching and kicking Orton some more for another 2 count...
Miz holds another chin lock on Orton before sending him to the outside... Orton gets catapulted into the ringpost outside the ring....
Orton seems to no-sell the move and jumps into the ring, hitting a lou thesz press, clothesline, slam, Garvin stomp & knee drop on The Miz for a 2 count
Alex Riley distracts Orton and Miz hits his backbreaker / neckbreaker combo on Orton for a 2 count
Orton hits his Angle Slam on The Miz for a 2 count.... Miz tries to leave with the Title but Orton cuts him off with a clothesline and sends him back into the ring....
Miz hits a DDT on Orton for 2 count.... We are an hour through the event already....
Randy hits the suspension DDT on The Miz and signals for an RKO.... The New Nexus start heading down to the ring....
Randy catches Alex Riley and sends him into Nexus.... Orton hits the RKO on Miz... CM Punk comes into the ring and hits the Go To Sleep on Orton and places The Miz's arm across the fallen Orton for the 3 count
The Miz is still the WWE Champion....


It looks like they are going with CM Punk Vs Randy Orton at WrestleMania?

It's difficult to tell though as sometimes they only have a few weeks build-up to WrestleMania matches, but years ago they would start setting-up the Mania feuds at Royal Rumble.

Nattie Neidheart Vs Layla Vs Michelle Vs Eve......
The "General Manager" comes through the laptop at the start of the match and says that he is changing the match from Laycool Vs Nattie in a Handicap Match to a Fatal 4 Way Match

Nattie gets a double Sharpshooter on Eve & Layla before it's broken up by Michelle....
Nattie controls Laycool by herself for a while before Michelle accidentally kicks Layla. Even comes into the ring and sends Nattie to the outside. Even pins Layla after a moonsault from the top rope and wins the Divas Title.
Michelle had Nattie pinned behind the ref's back so she is mad that the referee didn't count her pinfall instead....



Backstage, the Bellas start fighting with Daniel Bryan & Gail Kim.....

WrestleMania XXVII ad.....

Daniel Bryan eliminates Gabriel....

Daniel Bryan eliminates Ryder....

Wow, great start to the Rumble this year.... Great exchanges between Regal / Punk / Daniel Bryan

7.John Morrison, who gets a massive fan reaction....
Regal sends Morrison to the outside, but he clings onto the barricade and jumps from the barricade wall, onto the steps and back into the ring (as his feet never touched the ground outside)...

10. Chavo, who hits the 3 Amigos on Daniel Bryan.....

11. Mark Henry who throws out Chavo & Tatsu....

12. JTG attacks everyone in the ring before being slowed down by Mark Henry

Daniel Bryan hits a still dropkick on CM Punk....


Dibiase eliminated by McGillicutty & Husky...

14. Chris Masters, who almost eliminated Cm Punk, but McGillicutty helps him survive.... 20 mins into the Rumble....

15. David Otunga

CM Punk with Nexus throw out Daniel Bryan, Chris Masters & John Morrison before double teaming Mark Henry and throwing him over the top as well

16. Tyler Reks runs into the ring but Nexus immediately attack him and throw him over the top.....

17. Koslov runs to the ring and Nexus team him and throw him over the top rope....
Nexus wait in the ring for the next guy.....

18. R-Truth runs to the ring and The New Nexus team on him for a while before throwing him over the top rope....

19. The Great Khali... who finally puts a stop to The New Nexus and eliminates Husky

20. Mason Ryan eliminates Khali..... Nexus are again in control and waiting for the next guy to enter.....


21. Booker T returns......

The fans are popping for Booker T big-time and almost eliminates CM Punk before Mason Ryan quickly eliminates him...
That was a real shame, I was looking forward to watching Booker and so were the fans in the arena....


22. John Cena.......

Cena eliminates Otunga, Mason, McGillicutty so it's down to CM Punk Vs John Cena...

23. Hornswoggle

John Cena Eliminates CM Punk... So he eliminated Nexus all by himself before Cena and Hornswoggle await the next entrant....

24. Tyson Kid is double teamed by Cena and Hornswoggle..... obviously the children's comedy portion of the show kicks in... Hornswoggle hits the Attitude Adjustment on Tyson Kid before Cena sends him over the top...
I like Tyson Kid.

CenaSwoggle team up against Heath and throw him over the top rope...

I thought that this Rumble match started off strong with the CM Punk / Daniel Bryan exchanges, but it has gone downhill since they were both eliminated

Miz comes to the ring and throws Cena over the top rope from behind....

Orton throws out Barrett

Alberto throws out Orton...

...... Santino comes up from ringside and hits Alberto with the Cobra....

Santino sent over the top and Alberto Del Rio is the winner and will be going to Mania to Challenge for a World Championship....
