CM Punk appeared on Ariel Helwani's "The MMA Hour" online show today, and discussed a number of MMA and pro wrestling topics.
Helwani asked Punk about Triple H's recent comments claiming UFC
needs to evolve more than WWE. Punk said he felt that it was an absolute
insane statement. Punk said pro wrestling, in fact, has a lot of work
to do. He mentioned talking about MMA with Triple H many times, and
noted that HHH "just doesn't get it."
Punk was asked whether or not MMA has hurt the pro wrestling
business. Punk claimed that it definitely didn't help the wrestling
business. Punk claimed that to deny UFC as competition to WWE is
ridiculous.
Helwani asked Punk who he would be facing at WrestleMania 28. Punk
said he doesn't know because things change in WWE all the time. He said
he would like to face "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.
