The Philadelphia Daily News featured a story that casts some doubt onto the future of the former ECW Arena as a new promoter wants to come in and build a restaurant while turning the historic site into a concert venue, with the support of the Arena’s official owners, Stein & Silverman.

This has caused some issues with the current management of the Arena, Roger Artigiani, who claimed he has dropped a staggering $400,000 into the venue’s upgrades regularly running wrestling and other events there. Meanwhile, members of the community are complaining about the crowds already and the element the wrestling and the potential concerts bring.
