Hulk Hogan:
"When the script for The Wrestler kept coming to me I said, 'This movie
is so good if you put me in the film as a wrestler people are going to
say, "No credibility, Hulk Hogan isn't a good actor", whatever Hollywood
thinks of me'. As soon as they put Mickey Rourke in there I knew it had
a chance, and he did such a great, great job it relit his career."
Hogan also claimed he turned down lead roles in "Highlander" and "Robin Hood: Men in Tights"
During a recent interview with BBC, Hulk Hogan discussed improvising in the ring and his belief that overly choreographed matches look horrible. "The whole thing is improv. I've seen some of the young guys try to choreograph stuff, and it sucks; it looks horrible. It's the wrestlers that go out there and actually plan stuff and when it sucks, they just keep doing it, and it makes it even worse."
