In
addition to virtually every national and local news outlet covering
former WWE CEO Linda McMahon's announced Senate run on Tuesday, there
has been in-between coverage ranging from Comedy Central poking fun at a
former "wrestling executive (this is an actual job)" running for Senate
and McMahon grilled on tax reform. McMahon, asked whether the rich
(such as herself) should be taxed more than middle class citizens, gave a
non-answer on whether she believes her tax rate is fair, according to
the Hartford Courant.
"I think tax reform ought to be across
the board," McMahon said Tuesday during a brief interview following her
formal Senate announcement. "I do think people ought to pay their fair
share. We certainly pay what we owe, and will continue to do that."
