TNA Wrestling's announcement on May 23 that Terry Taylor, Director of Talent Relations, made the decision to leave, is being called a cover excuse.

Taylor was fired on May 20. It is believed that he was let go due to allegations made against him in a lawsuit filed by a former performer - who may or may not  be Shannon Spruill's (Daffney) lawsuit against the organization.

Mexican Pro Wrestler, Averno has signed a WWE contract. He will be working in WWE as an unmasked heel to work with Sin Cara on SmackDown!
Averno is expected to lose his mask to La Mascara at CMLL's next big event, which takes place on June 17.

Brock Lesnar Undergoes Surgery

Former WWE and UFC champion Brock Lesnar underwent surgery on Friday at the Mayo Clinic to remove a 12-inch section of his colon due to his ongoing diverticulitis issues.

The surgery will keep Lesnar out of the UFC Octagon until at least January 2012, based on comments made by UFC President Dana White last night.

Lesnar's autobiography, Death Clutch, was released last week.

According to multiple reports, Brian Knobbs mocked Randy Savage's death at a wrestling convention last Friday in Newark, California.

An order for Ric Flair's arrest was issued in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina after he was found in civil contempt today during a hearing. It involved him not following a mediated Settlement Agreement in the lawsuit against him by Highspots.com.

Randy Savage's Funeral Service

The body of Randy Savage was cremated on Tuesday and his ashes were spread at the base of a tree at his Largo, Florida home, reports TMZ.com. In compliance with his final request, the family did not play his trademark wrestling theme music during the ceremony.

According to Randy's brother Lanny Poffo, Randy adamantly requested that in his funeral plans, his theme music, Pomp and Circumstance, was not to be played while he was laid to rest.
