New York again took the first steps to sanction mixed martial arts on Monday, as the state Senate voted 42-18 to approve the sport, clearing the bill to move to the state Assembly, where it has faced the most opposition in the past.

The bill was also approved by the Senate in 2010, but was never voted on by the Assembly as it worked on budget issues.

There will be no public service or memorial for Randy Savage, only a small family service.

Randy's brother Lanny has said that Randy will be cremated and his ashes will be spread around Randy's favorite tree. Years ago, Randy's loyal dog Hercules passed away, and he was cremated and then his ashes were spread around the same tree.

Lanny says that Randy once told him:

Adding feul to the fire of the rumours about Vince McMahon holding Randy Savage in contempt during his last years in the company, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper claimed on Twitter that Savage once slapped Vince at a bar.

An autopsy was completed yesterday on Randy Savage and the cause of death is still "pending," reports TMZ.com.

TMZ.com adds that the Medical Examiner in Pinellas County, Florida did not notice "extensive trauma" to his body while conducting the autopsy.

Toxicology results are expected to be released in four to six weeks. It was previously reported that the police didn't suspect that drugs or alcohol were involved.

WWE Hall of Famer Road Warrior Animal has been removed as the advertised guest host of upcoming Raw live events in Canada due to WWE's belief that he was critical of their drug testing policy in a recently published interview with Power Slam magazine.

Terry Taylor was relieved of his duties as TNA Wrestling's Director of Talent Relations on Friday.

Dean Broadhead will now oversee contractual matters while former WWE executive Bruce Prichard will handle Taylor's remaining duties.

Taylor had been with TNA since 2003 in a management role and served as head of talent relations for the most of TNA's years in business.

TMZ.com have posted a photo of the crash scene involving Randy Savage.

Macho Man suffered a heart attack while he was behind the wheel around 9:25 AM yesterday morning. He lost control of his car and veered across the concrete median into oncoming traffic and into a tree.
