During an interview with Rodolfo Roman, former WCW TV champion Alex Wright explained that MMA is taking away viewers from wrestling, which is why the WWE went PG, to attract new fans.

WWE / TNA Lawsuit Update

WWE and TNA had a court conference last week about TNA's lawsuit against the company over confidential information that Brian Wittenstein provided to WWE.

WWE requested the hearing because of the deadlines set by the court for expedited discovery, which put them in a position where "they will be unable to adequately prepare" themselves for a planned June 11 hearing. WWE claimed they would not be able to comply with the Discovery Order "without considerable inconvenience and expense".

Chyna says she has recovered after collapsing on three consecutive days at an adult convention in Miami, Florida last month.

WWE has acquired the Bill Watts video library. The library includes Mid-South Wrestling, Mid-South's Power Pro Wrestling TV and the original Universal Wrestling Federation.

NWA Fanfest 2012 Cancelled

NWA Legends fanfest promotor Greg Price announced this afternoon that the annual NWA Legends Fanfest has been postponed for this year and will return in 2013.

Price contacted VIP ticket holders for the event and explained that he had been dealing with a medical issue for the last 4-5 months and was instructed that he needed to undergo a procedure that could not be delayed. He also stated that he procedure and recovery would prevent him from properly promoting and running the event.

Randy Orton was suspended for his second Wellness program violation (failed drug test).

Orton has been suspended three times, but this is only his second suspension for violating the Wellness guidelines. The third suspension was for behavior issues - from taking dumps in the bags of women in the company, to wrecking hotel rooms and other issues.

Full details have been revealed on TNA's lawsuit against World Wrestling Entertainment and Brian Wittenstein. The details look at what exactly TNA thinks Wittenstein gave to the company, why they are suing and why they think WWE tampered with Ric Flair's TNA deal.
