Don West has given the company notice and will be leaving soon. West has been with TNA since it started in 2002. He was a commentator before becoming the head of TNA merchandise in the summer of 2009. West was replaced by Taz in the announcer's position in August 2011. TNA has filed a lawsuit against WWE and former TNA and WWE employee Brian Wittenstein. The company filed the lawsuit yesterday in Nashville with charges of interference with existing contracts, conversion, breach of contract, civil conspiracy, unfair competition, and violation of the Tennessee Uniform Trade Secrets Act. A new women's promotion being run by Sal Hamaoui and Dave Prazak will debut on July 20 in Ybor City, Florida. The promotion will be a sister to Prazak's SHIMMER. He will tour Great Britain with his band Fozzy the week of 6/6 and handle hosting duties for The Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards in London on 6/11. Ric Flair and TNA may be parting ways soon as there is a lot of heat on Flair for conduct outside the ring.
