Daffney Files Lawsuit Against TNA

Update on the lawsuit Daffney filed against TNA:

 Daffney filed suit against TNA for injuries suffered while working for them. Depositions will be held next month and the case is making its way through the legal process.

An attorney that represents TNA in Texas requested he be allowed to represent the company in TN, where TNA is based and the lawsuit is filed. The court turned down that request.

WWE have signed Ashley Fliehr Johnson to a developmental contract. She is the daughter of Ric Flair.

Reports surfaced earlier this month that Ashley intended to follow in the footsteps of her legendary father as she was training to become a professional wrestler. She is expected to report to the company's Tampa, Florida based developmental training facility in the summer.

King Mo's appearance on MMA Uncensored in the wake of his Bellator/TNA signing pushed the show to a record rating. The weekly news magazine show brought in 567,000 viewers, beating the previous record of 547,000 attained in the February series premiere. Goldust was recently released by WWE after working as a producer for the SmackDown brand. There was an undisclosed incident at the April 24th SmackDown tapings in Grand Rapids, Michigan which led to his contract being terminated.

Goldust was responsible for coming up with the spot on SmackDown where Yoshi Tatsu took a double-team powerbomb finisher from Darren Young and Titus O’Neil. Tatsu landed bad and the bump was said to have looked even worse live than it did on TV.
