ROH’s TV show will begin airing for free today at their official website.

The FCC has approved Sinclair Broadcasting’s purchase of two stations in Salt Lake City, three stations in West Palm Beach, FL, as well as stations in Austin, Texas, and Providence, RI. Once the transitional period ends, those markets will carry the new Ring of Honor series as well.

There is talk of returning to Philadelphia in early 2012. The promotion had purposely avoided the market in recent months after running HDNet tapings there and being very free with comps to fill the ECW Arena.

In some markets, the ROH series is listed as “Best of Ring of Honor” for this weekend, so if you are using a series record to DVR it, you may want to make sure the new episode is still set to record. Thanks to Adam LeBow.

With the TV show debuting, ROH contracted talents are no longer allowed to appear on other independent wrestling promotion’s TV shows or Internet PPVs. There are plans to upgrade the cameras used by the promotion and there have been some other upgrades that have made life a little easier for the wrestlers in terms of airline travel and hotels.

Davey Richards and Kevin Steen will be at CRW's 3rd Anniversary Show on October 29th, 2011 in St. Leonard, Quebec, Canada.
