Crimson / Matt Morgan
James Storm / William Kelly Segment

Sting / Dixie / Hogan Segment
Highlights of Roode beating Sting and bullying Dixie Carter at the end of Sunday’s Victory Road PPV.
Dixie Carter comes to the ring looking upset after her treatment at the hands of Roode. Sting joins her in the ring and says that he isn’t able to run Impact at the same time as being a wrestler on the same level as Roode. Sting wants to step down as the General Manager and he wants control of the company to go to “the real” Hulk Hogan.
Damn it. I want to see less Hogan rather than more Hogan.
Bully Ray is backstage and unhappy about losing his No.1 contender match to James Storm at Victory Road. He says tonight, he’s going to take hostages….
Austin Aries Vs Kid Kash Vs Zema Ion Vs Anthony Neese
This was a great, fast-paced 4 way match. A few minutes into the match, while everyone is down in the ring, Bully Ray runs down the ramp, into the ring and flattens everyone. The match is thrown out.
Bully Ray takes the microphone and reminds the fans who he is….
The action in this was really good, but it was way too short. They could have had the same finish, but allowed these guys to have more time in the ring before it happened.
The “Repo Games” host is backstage with Mexican America, he has their car repossessed and asks them some Mexican trivia questions to release the car back to them.
They get the first question right and the next two questions wrong. Mexican America ask the Repo Games host if they can have their match first and return later and pay to have their car released….
Knockout Tag Team Titles: Eric Young & ODB Vs Rosita & Serita
Eric Young & ODB’s wedding has been announced for the 12th of March.
After a few minutes of action, Eric Young gets the tag and makes himself dizzy doing cartwheels. Serita and Rosita start dancing with Eric and it makes ODB mad. ODB takes them both out. She looks mad at Eric too, but then gives him a big kiss before he takes the pinfall and wins the match for his team.
Robert Roode / Sting video promo segment featuring promos from both guys before and after Victory Road. Great stuff.
Crimson is backstage watching Matt Morgan’s Direct Insurance ad which he pauses to cut his first heel promo. He blames Morgan for losing the tag team titles and says that he took out Morgan, just like he takes out the trash. Before he can finish, Matt Morgan storms into the interview room and beats down Crimson. Officials are taken down but eventually manage to hold Morgan back while Crimson crawls away.
Dixie is backstage and says that she understands what Sting is saying, but she has some business to take care of rather than having this interview….
Jeff Hardy is backstage cutting a promo on Kurt Angle when Joseph Park stops by and asks him if he has seen his brother Abyss around. Hardy says that he hasn’t seen him, but takes his card and says that he’ll let him know if he hears anything…
James Storm / Bobby Roode Promo video package. The video package goes through everything: Roode and Storm joining the company, working their up the ranks, being put together as a team, the break-up - with comments from both guys. Great stuff.
James Storm comes to the ring and tells Roode that what he did to Sting and Dixie Carter was wrong. He says that any man that hits a woman is not a man at all. Storm says that Roode will be locked inside a cage with him at Lockdown and he is going to right all of his wrongs. He calls out Roode right now so he can beat the hell out of him.
Roode’s music plays, but someone dressed in a suit comes to the ring instead and introduces himself as William Kelly, Robert Roode’s legal advisor, here to read an official statement.
The statement reads that Roode will stay at home in Canada until further notice due to TNA management creating an unsafe working environment for him, however he will wrestle and defeat Storm at Lockdown.
William goes on to read that Storm can choose either Chris Daniels or Frankie Kazarian to face tonight instead.
Roode apologises to all the fans who wanted to see him in action tonight.
James Storm says that he picks both Daniels and Kazarian to fight before he Superkicks Mr Kelly in the face and leaves him laying in the ring.
Kurt Angle is backstage and he is asked about losing to Garett last week. Angle says that he didn’t lose the match, Garett just lasted 5 minutes in the ring with him. Angle storms over to Garett and asks him if he’s telling people that he beat him last week. Garett says no, but technically, he did win the match.
Angle tells him to meet him in the ring and see if he can last 3 minutes with him tonight.
3 Minute Challenge: Kurt Angle Vs Garett Bischoff
Garett starts off a lot stronger this time until he infuriates Angle and then avoids him by rolling in and out of the ring. Garett was going to wait the time limit out until Gunner takes him out from behind and throws him back in the ring. The referee calls for the DQ. Angle and Gunner kick away at Garett until Jeff Hardy slides into the ring to make the save. Angle and Gunner leave the ring and walk down the ramp.
MCMGs promo video airs! I’m looking forward to Chris Sabin’s return to the ring, alongside Alex Shelley.
Samoa Joe & Brutus Magnus Vs Mexican America
During the match, Rosita and Serita jump up on the apron and the host from “Repo Games” comes to the ring and carries them both to the back. Joe and Magnus get the snap mere / top rope elbow combo on Anarcia to get the win.
Hogan is asked backstage what it's like being the new GM of Impact wrestling and he says that he doesn’t know what’s happening, he’s only here because Sting called him…
Back in the car park, the host of “Repo Games” takes Mexican America's car away and pushes an unhappy Anarcia. Rosita and Serita decide to leave with him….
James Storm is talking about his new song in a bar. He says that rednecks and longnecks can be from everywhere around the world “England, Japan, Africa, Canada: Everybody can get together and drink beer and have fun and that’s what this song and this video is all about”
The premiere of the music video will be next week.
Handicap Match: Chris Daniels & Kazarian Vs James Storm
Kazarian heads to the ring on his own, as Daniels turns around on the ramp and returns to the back…
While James Storm is coming to the ring, Chris Daniels comes running down the ramp to attack him from behind, however Storm sees him coming and he fights off Daniels and Kazarian until the 2-on-1 becomes too much and they beat him down for a while. At one point, Kazarian starts to become especially aggressive and Daniels tries to calm him down. Storm avoids a charging Daniels and Superkicks Kazarian as well as "The Fallen Angel" for the pinfall.
James Storm celebrates outside the ring.
Sting and Dixie Carter head to the ring….
Sting says that he has known Hogan for 20 years and ever since Bound For Glory when he cut Eric Bischoff out of his life, we’ve seen the real Hogan. Sting says that he trusts in Hogan and he asks Dixie to trust in him too.
Dixie says that she trusts Sting and if he believes in Hogan, then she’s willing to go with it.
Sting calls “The Real” Hulk Hogan to the ring…. Hogan is over with the fans in the Impact Zone.
Sting tells Hogan that he made himself, Dixie and the fans believe in him again.
Sting leads the fans in a “Hogan! Hogan! Hogan!” chant as Impact goes off air….
I really liked the Bobby Roode video promos throughout the show as well as the video package on Roode and Storm. I also liked the Crimson promo / backstage brawl with Matt Morgan.
It’s great to see that Chris Sabin will be returning for a MCMG return soon.
Overall I didn’t like the booking of the show at all this week.
The 4-way match ended way too soon with Bully Ray’s beat-down.
The main event match had James Storm beating both Kazarian and Chris Daniels pretty easily and quickly in a 2-on-1 situation. What does that say about AJ Styles who has been having knock-down, drag-out long wars with each of these guys?
I don’t like the ODB & Eric Young stuff. I like Eric as a talent in the ring and he can be really funny, but I just don’t like this material at all. Eric and ODB winning the women’s tag titles is a stupid idea, but the wedding rubbish coming up is maybe even worse than that.
I didn’t like the Mexican America / Repo Games host segments and I don’t get that Rosita and Serita left Hernandez and Anarcia to leave with the host. Does mean that they have left Mexican America? Are they going to sleep with him so that he releases their car? I just thought these segments were bad.
The tag match didn’t last long and I don’t think Mexican America are much good anyway. I still think Joe & Magnus seem strange teaming together, they just don’t seem right to me as a long term team. TNA needs to bring in more teams.
The Angle / Garett Bischoff thing was a real waste of the many talents of Kurt f’n Angle.
I’ve saved the worst until last - the Hogan / Sting / Dixie storyline and it being in the “Main event” position on the show was not good. I would have liked this better if it was a short backstage segment rather than having them each walk down to the ring so that Hogan could be made the new GM, which we could all see coming from the opening segment anyway. I hate this because it means more Hogan on TV and it was just a very dull end to a bad show.
This was perhaps the most badly put together and booked TNA Impact show I’ve ever seen.
