Robert Roode / James Storm segment

Robert Roode is in the ring…..  James Storm comes down the ramp and is prevented by security from entering the ring. Roode tells Storm that he wasn’t the person who jumped him backstage last week.
As security drag Storm away, AJ Styles jumps Roode in the ring and they keep fighting as security try to break them up….
Styles takes the mic and says Roode screwed James Storm and himself but he’s going to take the Title away from Roode.  Robert tells Styles to go back to the trailer park and earn another chance for a Title shot.
Sting comes to the ramp and books their match to be a 30 minute Iron Man match at Final Resolution.

Robert Roode grabs hold of Dixie Carter. AJ Styles comes to her rescue, but Roode knocks Styles into Dixie and beats on Styles with Dixie underneath him.

Backstage, Samoa Joe tells James Storm that it wasn’t Roode who attacked him last week. Storm accuses Joe of being responsible for the attack and shoves him before they begin to fight….

The Pope Video package

Backstage Sting  /  Roode Segment

TV Title: Robbie E Vs Devon (w/ The Pope)
Devon is looking in the best shape of his life and looked good in this short match.
During the match, Rob Terry takes out The Pope from behind and argues with Devon’s sons at ringside
Eric Young attacks Rob Terry with a chair shot from behind
This distracts Devon enough for Robbie E to roll him up to get the win.

Backstage, Garett Bischoff asks Sting to let him have another match….
Matt Morgan and Crimson are complimenting each other on their toughness at Turning Point.
Sting hears and tells them to put their differences aside and team together since there wasn’t much competition in the tag team ranks…. They agree it would be a good idea. Why would you want to join the tag team ranks just because there is no competition there? Is that really a good thing?

Sting reminds Bischoff backstage that he agreed to have his contract re-negotiated last week. Bischoff says that he didn’t sign anything so it doesn’t matter. Sting tells Eric that he’s going to have his son go through all members of Immortal until he finally gets his dad in the ring. Sting says he will be in Garett’s corner tonight when he faces Gunner.

Kid Kash and Austin Aries Vs Jesse Sorensen & Brian Kendrick

Great work by all in this match.
Austin Aries and Kid Kash argue before Aries leaves Kash on his own and heads down the ramp. Jesse wins the match for his team and Kid Kash looks like mad for being abandoned in the match by Aries.

For fans here in the UK, Jeremy Borash is backstage with Kurt Angle hyping the Impact Tour over in the UK at the beginning of next year. Kurt Angle says that he would like to face Sting on the tour.

Backstage, James Storm approaches Mr Anderson who is playing video games. He asks if it was him who attacked him in the shower last week, as he calls himself an asshole. Mr Anderson says that if he wanted to attack him, it wouldn’t be from behind….  But invites him to play the video game with him, Storm agrees before ripping the wires out and leaving….

10 Knockout Gaunlet Match:
Rosita Vs Velvet Vs Tessmacher Vs Angelina Vs Mickie Vs Sarita Vs Tera Vs Winter Vs ODB Vs Madison

Some of the work in this match was good and some of it was bad.
Mickie won the match. Tera should be presented as being higher on the card than she is. I think she is by far the best worker of all the knockouts.

Bully Ray is picking on a random lady backstage….  James Storm asks him if he who jumped him last week…. Bully Ray says that he has his hands full with Abyss, but he knows who bloodied up James Storm last week…. Bully Ray asks Storm to join Immortal…..  Storm tells him the chance of him joining Immortal are about the same as Bully Ray’s chances of getting laid….

Garett Bischoff says he is excited about his match with Gunner later tonight….

Karen Jarrett cuts a great promo on Jeff Hardy in the ring before Jarrett tries to jump him from behind. His plan fails and Hardy sends them both fleeing from the ring.

Mexican America Promo…

Garett Bischoff Vs Gunner
Short match which Garett won.
This was not very interesting to me and I wasn’t paying full attention to what happened.

James Storm comes to the ring to tell us who his attacker last week was….
He says he is going to blame everyone in the back for what happened to him and he calls out AJ Styles.
Storm and Styles almost come to blows before Kazarian comes to the ring to separate them.

As James Storm is leaving the ring, Kurt Angle attacks him from behind and beats him down, ramming his head into the steps and giving him the Angle Slam back in the ring.

Angle takes the mic and admits he is “guilty as charged” for the attack last week and tells Storm to go home and tell his daughter that it was him who caused her daddy to have a concussion….

No match was given the chance to really kick into high gear, but there was a lot of good action, split into many different little slices.
I like the storyline progression of Kurt Angle being the one who attacked James Storm from behind. It makes perfect sense that the guy he took the Title from would be the one who attacked him backstage.

The Jeff Hardy / Jeff Jarrett issues are pretty good. It makes sense to me that Jeff Jarrett would take Hardy’s disrespect of TNA personally and who have a problem with him returning to the company.
I think Karen is the best female promo in the business since Sensational Sherri.

I’m not really into the whole Garett Vs Eric story at all. I have nothing against Garett himself or having him included in the show, but I just don’t like what they are doing. Flair’s promos on Garett have been great, but it’s just a bad angle to me that takes up way too much time.

Overall, I felt this was a good Impact.
